Scene that stuck out to me
The Empire Strikes Back, 1980, Irvin Kershner One of the most popular movies in the Star Wars series is The Empire Strikes Back because of the scene where Luke Skywalker finally faces Darth Vader. The action/thriller movie is so important to the series because it is when Luke discovers that Darth Vader, his enemy, is actually his father. The angles and background really build the suspense and add to the action happening in this film. I don't think I would have done anything different to this scene, the camera moving from far away to show the action to close up to show the emotion of the characters in this crucial scene is perfect. If you were to watch the movies in chronological order you discover this piece of information earlier but this movie was released way before the others came out which made it better and put people on the edge of their seat for longer.
